Kia Niro VR Showroom

I was approached by the branding experts at IPG Medialab to provide an architectural design for a virtual showroom for a new hybrid SUV. The project was to be web-based so that prospective buyers could view the experience on their own mobile device using a free Google Cardboard viewer sent to them by Kia.

Through several rounds of review with the branding agency, client, and engineering team I provided the architectural design, 360 stereo renderings, and initial code mock-ups using a-frame and three.js.

Over 80,000 prospective shoppers have viewed the Kia Niro VR experience and the project was awarded Case Study Finalist by the Mobile Marketing Association in 2017.
