URBAN POWER GAUGE
Urban Power Gauge is proposal for a public space fronting a power substation commissioned by the City of Dallas. A curvilinear light wall responds to the real-time power usage of the community served by the substation. The wall highlights, rather than conceals, the role of energy infrastructure in our cities and serves to build awareness of our energy consumption.
